Hard to believe that it has already been a month since MIR2010! Wow. What a great event and we've got news for you about MIR2011 already!
The MIR2011 Hotel Block is now open! We're returning the the Best Western Hawthorne Terrace as they have added an annex full of new rooms. By MIR2011 the entire hotel will have been renovated with a fresh modern look. Check out the hotels page and make your reservations now.
We are please to announce that MIRubber.com is now multi-lingual! We are providing translation of the website in several languages via the Google translate tool. Simply select the language you desire and the entire website is translated into that language for you. While we understand that the translation is not "perfect" it is a major step towards ensuring that our international audience has access to the most current information on our site, and we are happy to the be the first international contest site to provide this feature for our international audience.
Pictures from MIR2010 are now uploaded in 5 galleries on our website. Included are photos from our first "Black Carpet Arrivals" and we hope you will grab your photos and place it in your various online profiles. if you have difficulty grabbing your photos, email us at info@mirubber and tell us which photo you are in and we'll send you an electronic copy as our way of saying thanks for making MIR2010 such an amazing success.
MIR Contest LLC, the parent company of Mr. International Rubber, is very happy that we were able to make a significant donation to the Center on Halsted as part of this year's event. A check for $2,500 has been presented to the center on Halsted, which represents proceeds from individual admissions to the vendors market. Thank you to everyone who purchased individual admission to the market and to everyone who purchased weekend packages as well.
The buzz surrounding MIR2010 has been amazing and we have loved seeing all of your comments on the various profiles and websites. We're already off and planning for MIR2011/ be sure to encourage your friends to sign up for the MIR Email and they will be in the know on all of the preparations for MIR2011 and international rubber events moving forward. Use the forward button at the bottom of the email to send the email on to your friends and encourage them to sign up. Your personal testimonial regarding MIR2010 is one of our greatest assets to help grow this weekend and we thank you for your support.
MIR 2010 On The Move
MIR2010, Fenn, is wasting no time in getting to the work representing the rubber community. Prior to competing at MIR he was planning an event called "Saturday afternoon stretch" at Goodhandy's in Toronto. With the victory at MIR, I'm sure this party is going to be one not to miss.
